In 2016, I launched this exact challenge and got tons of hits on my website. When I posted this challenge 5 years ago, I didn’t know it would be the catalyst to put my fitness on track. I’m currently 32, but when I did this challenge I was 26 coming out of the worst relationship of my life. I was broken mentally and emotionally plus 25 pounds heavier. I’m just kidding but I can admit losing weight is a great way to help you move on from a breakup. After I dropped the 20 pounds, I went on to stay in shape and join a Crossfit gym where I started lifting weights and toning. It has helped me to maintain my figure after this 30 year old, sloth metabolism smacked me in my face. In this post, I’m going to share with you what I did and how to keep the fitness going. The Free Challenge…

We chose this because it’s for people who may not have access to the gym or a trainer but these workouts are easy enough to do but rigorous enough to get your body right. My best friend and I both lost 20 pounds. We have very different body types so it works if you work it. It’s not easy but it’s worth it. The Diet…

This is where most of us fall off the bandwagon…the diet. Dieting SUCKS but the older we get, the more dieting matters. Back in the day, I could eat like Fat Albert, not work out, and still keep a flat stomach. Now, no matter how much I workout, if I am not eating correctly I will still be fat. For this reason, we have to diet! The diet plan best for the 30 day challenge is The Modern Hero Diet. After the 30 Days…

Have you ever wanted thicker hips? Lift heavy weights. Have you ever wanted toned arms and thighs? Lift heavy weights. Have you ever wanted a smaller waist and a bigger butt? Lift heavy weights. A lot of women are afraid to lift weights because they think it’ll make them bulky but this is a myth. In Crossfit, I would squat up to 180 lbs and deadlift over 200 lbs. It didn’t do anything but tome me and lift my butt. Weight lifting also build lean muscle which helps you maintain your weight loss. Without muscle, it’s easier to gain weight. When you lift heavy weights, you have more flexibility in your eating because muscle resists fat. If you like the look of ladies like Ashanti, Meg the Stallion, and Mary J Blige then lift weights. You don’t need a BBL if you lift weights, trust me. I discovered this wonderful program called Gains with Adama for less than $30. Its a weight lifting program for  beginners and it’s amazing. It comes with two full weeks of workouts including pictures and descriptions of how to do them. You repeat these workouts weekly. It also comes with a sample meal plan. A great way to set your fitness goals off right is to fast. It cleans your system and shocks your body into a faster metabolism.
